- Booking & Billing: selected plan, number of lessons, dates/times, payment status (processed by PayPal).
- Technical Data: IP address, device/browser info, pages viewed, and cookie/consent choices (see Cookies).
- Optional: class recordings or transcripts only with your prior consent.

- Directly from you via contact/booking forms, email, or during lessons.
- Automatically via cookies/consent preferences (see Cookies & Analytics).
- From third parties when you use scheduling (Calendly) and payments (PayPal).

- Provide and manage lessons — performance of a contract or steps prior to a contract.
- Process bookings and payments — performance of a contract; legal obligations (tax/invoicing).
- Communicate and support about lessons, materials, and scheduling — legitimate interests/contract.
- Improve content and services — legitimate interests; cookies/analytics only with consent.
- Comply with law — legal obligations (accounting, fraud prevention).

7) Third-Party Providers
Payments — PayPal
Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not store card details on our servers. PayPal acts as an independent controller for your payment data.
Scheduling — Calendly
Calendly collects your name, email, time zone, and availability to schedule lessons. They process this data to provide their service.
Hosting & Communications
We use reputable hosting, email, and cloud services to deliver our lessons and store materials under appropriate security and contractual safeguards.
8) International Transfers
Your data may be transferred outside your country (e.g., to the United States) by our providers. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
9) How Long We Keep Data
- Student records: up to 24 months after your last lesson, unless you request earlier deletion where applicable.
- Invoices & tax records: retained for the period required by law.
- Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
10) Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.
EU/UK residents can lodge a complaint with their data protection authority. California residents can exercise CPRA rights (to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/sharing). We do not sell personal data.

Lessons for minors must be requested by a parent/guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children without appropriate consent and supervision.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
